The Italian company Moretto will launch the inline MoistureMeter, a world first of its kind. The new device, located right above the feed zone and very close to the plasticizing screw, provides reliable inline measurement of the residual humidity including instant optimization through feed-back signals to the closed-loop control system of the upstream polymer drying equipment. Further information will be unveiled at the Fakuma 2015 fair.
