Simona AG supplies an end-to-end system of products designed specifically for the drainage of traffic routes and installations used in the area of rail transportation. The so-called Simondrain pipes, fittings and shaft structures meet the standards of the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) in Germany as well as complying with DBS 918 064 for Manufacturer-Related Product Qualification (HPQ).
The Simodrain range includes PE pipes with EBA certification for use in the inner load-bearing section of rail tracks (pressure classes SDR 17/11) as well as PE pipes for the outer load-bearing sections and the non-load-bearing areas in SDR 21 (SN 8). Simodrain PE control and inspection shafts are available in various designs, which includes products for use in the inner load-bearing section (HPQ and EBA certification) as well as the outer and non-load-bearing sections (HPQ). The range is complemented by a tailor-made system of specific fittings and components.
