The expansions in Šašovice, Czech Republic, all opening in April of this year, include both a 1,000 square meter expansion to the current TIRAD facility plus a new 3,000 square meter distribution center. The investment totals more than €5 Million Euros. The investment will increase the capacity of both DME and TIRAD, furthering the focus on TIRAD’s high precision, non-standard mould bases. In addition, new construction is also taking place in Policka, Czech Republic, creating another production base for the Uniloy blow moulding machine systems. The new facility in Policka will open this month and will feature over 11,000 square meters allowing for future expansion. The new Lean Manufacturing facility represents an investment of over €11 Million Euros. Milacron will showcase all product brands united under one roof at the upcoming NPE show in the largest booth space in NPE history.
