3D Printing with PEEK and other advanced reinforced polymers has been technically challenging until now. Arevo Labs, a Silicon Valley startup, has solved this problem by optimizing polymer formulations along with company’s patent pending 3D Printing technology to produce “Ultra Strong Polymer Parts” which can be used in aerospace, defense and healthcare industries. The new technology combines the benefits of printing complex geometries with reinforced materials that have excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemicals. Supported materials include polymers such as PEEK (KetaSpire), PAEK (AvaSpire), PPSU (Radel) and SRP (PrimoSpire) of company Solvay Specialty Polymers.

Arevo’s technology consists of proprietary Carbon Fiber and Carbon Nanotube (CNT) reinforced materials, printing technology compatible with commercially available filament fusion 3D printers and Algorithms to optimize mechanical properties of printed parts. The company plans to offer the technology and materials to OEMs worldwide.
