  • Most of them free of charge

The German nova-Institute makes its most important studies, reports and services around the “bio-based economy” available to the professional public, and most of them free of charge.

The newly designed website provides a range of studies, papers, articles, presentations, proceedings, data, graphics and diagrams issued by nova-Institute over the last five years. It currently contains 30 studies and professional articles on the core topics “economy and markets”, “policy”, “sustainability and ecology” and “technology”. The series “nova-papers”, for instance, gives thought-provoking impulses on important issues of the bio-based economy. So far, four nova-papers have been published, addressing the level playing field for material and energetic uses of biomass, food-crops, GreenPremium and a reform of the “Renewable Energy Directive (RED)”.

In addition to an overview of upcoming nova conferences, all proceedings of the last years on topics such as bio-based materials, bioplastics, WPC, CO2 utilization, micro plastics and sustainable packaging can be found. Other services of the nova-Institute include the “Bio-based News” portal which offers daily news on the bio-based economy with more than 14,000 reports on 6,500 companies. The updated edition of the “International Business Directory for Innovative Bio-based Materials” iBIB has recently been released. The online database makes it easy to find the right producer of bio-based polymers and composites.
