Gammaflux Europe GmbH has now equipped its new G24 hot runner temperature controller with the “Mold Wizard”, a recognition software for hot runner moulds. When a new mould is put into service, the software identifies and analyses the individual zones of the hot runner system. Using this system, even less experienced operators can now obtain an optimum setting of the control zones and process parameters. During the setting procedure, the recognition software also ensures that the “Mold Monitor” protection and safety functions integrated in the Gammaflux controllers are activated. If a mould that has already been analysed is put back into service, the corresponding data file can be immediately retrieved via a menu.
