Uponor North America has launched Ecofle Potable PEX Plus, a pre-insulated pipe system for underground potable-plumbing applications

that provides energy-efficient freeze protection in cold climates. The pipe features an ABS 1¼” service pipe with a 7 W/ft. heat-trace cable that runs the entire length of the pipe. The pipe and cable are then surrounded by a multilayer, crosslinked closed PEX-foam insulation and covered by a corrugated, waterproof UV resistant jacket made of HDPE.
