A lack of water is a lack of brainpower. Drinking eight to ten cups of water a day can improve levels of cognitive performance by up to 30%. Therefore it is crucial to carry water with you wherever you are. In order to meet the requirements of a modern lifestyle, two German entrepreneurs, David Ziegler and Felix Durst, started working on a bottle design with only one thing in mind: rethinking conventional water bottles. Following this believe, they developed the Aquabook from scratch.
100% BPA and BPS free
Due to its sleek A5 format design the Aquabook fits easily in a purse or briefcase. Different colours, both for bottle and cap, are available. The bottles can even be personalized with a name, picture or a smart quote using UV-digital printing technology. Designed and manufactured in Germany, it is 100% BPA and BPS free.
Extrusion blow-moulding process using copolyester
The bottle is produced in an extrusion blow-moulding process using copolyester “Tritan” of Eastman Chemicals which ensures high stability. In addition, due to its high temperature resistance of the material, the bottle can also be used for hot drinks. The cap made of polypropylene is injection moulded.
Financing via Crowdfunding
The project is financed by crowdfunding. Therefore supporters, or so-called “backers” will be among the first ones who will receive an Aquabook upon successful financing of the project. At the time of this writing there have been 281 backers pledged EURO 22,256 with 19 days to go. The goal of the campaign is EUR 47,666.
