Bio-based materials conference will feature 12 innovative start-ups

250 participants and 30 exhibitors mainly from industry are expected at the 8th International Conference on Bio-based Materials (“Biowerkstoff-Kongress”), 13 – 15 April in Cologne, Germany. Due to last years success and for a second time the conference will have a third day especially dedicated to start-ups with ground-breaking innovations.

Application still open

This year’s start-ups session will feature up to 12 new innovative start-ups. Sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Industrial Biotechnology Cluster CLIB2021, the day will start with investors, providing an insight into their incentives and experiences working with start-ups in the biotech sector. The selected start-ups will afterwards have a chance to present their innovations and get in contact with potential partners and investors.
